The projects are getting cozier, the weather is thinking about changing, and the shop is buzzing with excitement because Kansas City Yarn Crawl is almost here!
Before we dive into one of my favorite weeks of the year, let's celebrate everything we've accomplished this summer.

What an incredible few months!
Thank you to everyone who joined us for this year's Summer Stitch Games. You filled the shop with creativity, laughter, beautiful projects, and so much encouragement for one another.

And congratulations to everyone who completed their bingo cards! Your prize is waiting—stop by the shop the next time you're in and we'll make sure you take it home.

🇺🇸 A Special Visit to Excelsior Springs
Beginning Wednesday, September 9, Excelsior Springs will host the Traveling Vietnam Memorial Wall.
The memorial will remain in town through Monday, September 14, giving our community the opportunity to honor and remember those who served.
If you have the chance, I encourage you to take some time to visit this beautiful and meaningful tribute.

As I look back on another Summer Stitch Games, I'm reminded once again that Knit Ewe Together has never just been about yarn.

It's about friendships.
Learning something new.
Cheering each other on.And creating memories—one stitch at a time.

Take two days. Take three. Grab your yarn friends, plan some lunch stops, explore the neighborhoods and actually give yourself time to enjoy each yarn shop.

Because every participating shop is different.

Different yarns.
Different samples.
Different projects.
Different personalities.
Different surprises. 💛

And you definitely want to visit ALL of them!

📌 Visit every shop and collect a souvenir pin from each stop.

🎉 Visit all of the shops to complete your eligibility for the KC Yarn Crawl Grand Prize drawing!

The Bring a Friend Challenge continues through the end of the games, so there's still time to collect those last passport stamps.
Before next weekend, double-check your passport and make sure every project has been counted.
I can't wait to celebrate all of your creativity over the past few months!

We're getting so close!
If you scheduled your KC Yarn Crawl yarn pickup, your yarn should already be waiting for you here at the shop.
The project pouches are on their way and should be arriving soon!
I can't wait to see everyone's kits come together—it won't be long now!

🍂 Fall Classes Are Taking Shape
I'm having so much fun planning our fall lineup!
🍁 Flora Adora Hat Make Along begins in October, and it's going to be a beautiful way to learn and enjoy colorwork together.
🎄 I'm also putting together a Quick Christmas Gifts Class, perfect for checking a few handmade gifts off your holiday list.
One important reminder...
We will not be offering Beginner Knitting or Beginner Crochet classes in November or December, so if you've been thinking about learning (or know someone who has), now is the time to sign up!

The colors are beautiful, the yarn is soft, and it's quickly becoming one of my favorite choices for fall garments and accessories.

Once the Yarn Crawl wraps up, we're not slowing down!

We're already putting the finishing touches on something new called Finish Off Fall, and I think it's going to be the perfect way to finally complete those projects that have been patiently waiting in your project bags.
