Introduction to making cables in knitting.

In this class we will discover the beauty of making cables, with and without the use of a cable needle. 

Class price includes :

1 skein of New Garden Yarns, Hand-Dyed Bulky yarn

Printed Hat and matching Mitts pattern

1 hour of class time

Required for class:

5 stitch markers + 1 Begining of round marker (BOR)

Cable needle

16 inch circular, #6 and #8 knitting needles 

#8 double points (or 40" circular, if you are familiar with magic loop knitting)

Knitting knowledge: Knit, Purl, Knitting in the round, decreases.

Please come to class with your ribbing finished, ready to make your cables. 

With #6 needles CO 82 sts, join to work in the round. Make 1x1 ribbing for 11 rounds.

With the purchase of an additional skein of New Garden Bulky, you can make a pair of fingerless mitts that will match your hat.
